Noodle's Progress

It feels so surreal to write this, but Noodle has officially finished his USA and international collections and is now in training with Grand Prix dressage rider Jeremy Janjic. I've known from the begining that this horse was special. Bred from a line I started 15 years ago, but seeing him step into this next phase is something I have dreamed about for the last 15 years, when I started this bloodline. It was something that at the time, felt like it would only ever be just that...a dream. From watching Django of Cacheral (Noodle's sire) perform Grand Prix level dressage with Jeremy Janjic, when i was a teenage girl, I dreamed of owning one of his progeny one day- and oh my, if I could only go back in time and tell my teenage self what kind of horse we would be blessed with in the future. Im not sure I would have even believed myself. Anyway back to Noodle- The journey that he has taken to get to NSW has not been a short one. He travelled from the other side of Australia, stopping in Melbourne to quarantine and collect for USA, and while he was there we decided it was worthwhile quarantining and collecting to international standards also. We have the international semen stored here in Austaralia until he is going along under saddle further, at which time I expect him to recieve a lot more interest from all around the world. We already do get a decent amount of interest internationally from breeders, but we recieve the most interest from USA, so we are first sending semen there. As excited as I am to see him in his element and learning new things, I equally miss his beautiful, cheeky and quirky nature at home and I cannot wait until I will be able to wrap my arms around him again. Until that day comes though, I will continue to enjoy soaking up this magical moment as he begins his next phase of under saddle training.
